What this category does

These settings decide minimum safe price, recommended price, premium price, job health, margin safety, and whether a quote is profitable. Every booking source should feed the same Smart Pricing Brain so Jarvix has one source of pricing truth.

State-Based Pricing Brain

System function: this setting feeds the Unified Smart Pricing Brain, quote forms, booking forms, job health, and profit recommendations.

What This Setting Controls

This tells Jarvix which state to use when applying default labor, burden, travel, overhead, and target margin assumptions. The selected state becomes the starting point for the Smart Pricing Brain, especially during setup before the company has enough historical data.

Why This Exists

A company in Texas, California, New York, or Florida can have very different labor costs, payroll burden, insurance costs, taxes, fuel costs, and operating overhead. If Jarvix uses the wrong state assumptions, quotes can look profitable on screen but lose money in real life.

Business Impact

Changing this affects every quote calculated by Smart Pricing. Booking forms, Office Booking, Customer Portal, AI Operator, Smart Forms, commercial estimates, and price-audit recommendations should all use these same assumptions unless the owner overrides them inside the detailed settings.

If Configured Too High / Too Aggressive

If state defaults are set too high, Jarvix may recommend prices that are too expensive for the market and reduce booking conversion.

If Configured Too Low / Too Weak

If state defaults are set too low, Jarvix may recommend prices that win jobs but hurt payroll, profit, and cash flow.

Jarvix AI Recommendation Logic

Jarvix should compare actual payroll, job time, expenses, and profit by state/market and recommend updates when real company data differs from the selected state assumptions.

Cleaning Production Rates

System function: this setting feeds the Unified Smart Pricing Brain, quote forms, booking forms, job health, and profit recommendations.

What This Setting Controls

This tells Jarvix how many square feet each service type and team size can clean per hour. It is the foundation for estimated job time, team capacity, labor hours, route scheduling, and pricing.

Why This Exists

Every cleaning company works at a different speed. A fast trained crew and a newer solo cleaner should not be priced the same. These production rates protect the company from underestimating time and undercharging customers.

Business Impact

Changing production rates affects estimated hours, Smart Calendar capacity, quote pricing, labor cost, route plans, Dispatch workload, and Job Health Score. Lower production rates mean more time and higher recommended prices. Higher production rates mean shorter estimated jobs and lower recommended prices.

If Configured Too High / Too Aggressive

If production rates are too high, Jarvix may underestimate job time, underprice the quote, overload schedules, and cause late arrivals.

If Configured Too Low / Too Weak

If production rates are too low, Jarvix may overestimate job time, overprice quotes, and reduce conversion.

Jarvix AI Recommendation Logic

Jarvix should compare estimated time against actual clock-in/clock-out time and suggest better production rates by service type, team size, and condition level.

Hourly Labor Cost Settings

System function: this setting feeds the Unified Smart Pricing Brain, quote forms, booking forms, job health, and profit recommendations.

What This Setting Controls

This controls the true cost of labor used by Smart Pricing. It includes hourly wage, payroll tax, worker compensation, labor burden, contractor pay method, and default team size.

Why This Exists

Labor is usually the largest cost in a cleaning company. If labor cost is wrong, every quote, job health score, payroll forecast, and profit report becomes unreliable.

Business Impact

Changing labor cost affects minimum safe price, recommended price, profit margin, payroll forecast, job health, and recurring customer price audits. It also helps Jarvix know whether employee or contractor pay structures are profitable.

If Configured Too High / Too Aggressive

If labor cost is set too high, Jarvix may overprice jobs and reduce sales conversion.

If Configured Too Low / Too Weak

If labor cost is set too low, Jarvix may underprice jobs and create hidden payroll losses.

Jarvix AI Recommendation Logic

Jarvix should compare payroll records, contractor payouts, clocked hours, and completed job revenue to recommend a real fully burdened labor cost.

Configured

Profit Margin Goals

System function: this setting feeds the Unified Smart Pricing Brain, quote forms, booking forms, job health, and profit recommendations.

What This Setting Controls

This controls the profit targets Jarvix uses to decide minimum safe price, recommended price, premium price, job health, and underpricing warnings.

Why This Exists

Revenue does not mean profit. Many service businesses grow sales while losing money because labor, travel, supplies, and overhead are not protected in pricing.

Business Impact

Changing margins changes every recommended price. Higher target margins increase recommendations and profit protection. Lower margins may improve conversion but reduce profit safety.

If Configured Too High / Too Aggressive

If target margin is too high, prices may feel premium but customers may book less often.

If Configured Too Low / Too Weak

If target margin is too low, the company may stay busy but struggle with payroll, taxes, and cash flow.

Jarvix AI Recommendation Logic

Jarvix should recommend margin goals based on service type, route profitability, recurring customer value, local market, and actual financial performance.

Travel, Supplies & Overhead

System function: this setting feeds the Unified Smart Pricing Brain, quote forms, booking forms, job health, and profit recommendations.

What This Setting Controls

This controls non-labor costs added into pricing: travel, mileage, fuel, tolls, supplies, equipment markup, and overhead allocation.

Why This Exists

A job is not profitable just because labor is covered. Vehicles, supplies, software, insurance, marketing, management time, rent, phones, and equipment also have to be paid from each job.

Business Impact

Changing these costs affects recommended price, minimum safe price, area pricing, route profitability, invoices, and financial reporting. This section prevents Jarvix from underpricing jobs that look simple but carry expensive operating costs.

If Configured Too High / Too Aggressive

If costs are too high, quotes may become less competitive.

If Configured Too Low / Too Weak

If costs are too low, profit reports may look healthy while the bank account does not.

Jarvix AI Recommendation Logic

Jarvix should compare real expenses, mileage, receipts, inventory usage, and route data to recommend better overhead and supply assumptions.

Configured

Service Type Pricing Rules

System function: this setting feeds the Unified Smart Pricing Brain, quote forms, booking forms, job health, and profit recommendations.

What This Setting Controls

This controls which service types can be priced by Jarvix and which pricing method each service should use.

Why This Exists

Residential, deep, move-out, Airbnb, commercial, and post-construction jobs do not price the same. Each service needs its own method, minimum price, production rate, supply cost, and profit expectations.

Business Impact

Changing this affects which services appear in booking, what formulas are used, how minimum prices are enforced, and how Smart Pricing returns quote options.

If Configured Too High / Too Aggressive

If minimums are too high, some customers may not convert.

If Configured Too Low / Too Weak

If minimums are too low, small jobs can become unprofitable after travel, supplies, and labor.

Jarvix AI Recommendation Logic

Jarvix should recommend service-specific pricing methods based on actual close rate, profit, cleaning time, customer type, and route performance.

Unified Smart Pricing Brain

System function: this setting feeds the Unified Smart Pricing Brain, quote forms, booking forms, job health, and profit recommendations.

What This Setting Controls

This controls whether every booking source sends quote data to one pricing engine instead of calculating prices separately.

Why This Exists

If every form has its own formula, customers can receive different prices for the same job. One pricing brain keeps office booking, online booking, AI Operator, commercial forms, and customer portal quotes consistent.

Business Impact

Changing this affects every future quote. The correct rule is that booking forms collect data only. The Smart Pricing Brain calculates minimum safe price, recommended price, premium price, job health, service fee impact, and area adjustment.

If Configured Too High / Too Aggressive

If duplicate pricing is allowed, the system can become inconsistent and impossible to trust.

If Configured Too Low / Too Weak

If the pricing brain is disabled, booking forms may fall back to incomplete legacy pricing logic.

Jarvix AI Recommendation Logic

Jarvix should run an audit showing which forms call the unified API and flag any route or form that still contains duplicate pricing logic.
